Thailand's Bangkok United completed a third comeback victory in a row in the AFC Champions League™ 2023/24 with a 2-1 win over Kitchee SC in Wednesday's Group F tie at Hong Kong Stadium. Jakob Jantscher got the hosts off to the perfect start with his sixth minute opener, but Rungrath Phumichantuk levelled things on the stroke of half-time before Willen completed the turnaround after he scored from the penalty spot early in the second half. The visitors had to defend their lead with a numerical disadvantage for the final six minutes of normal time after Bassel Jradi’s sending off, but Totchtawan Sripan’s men were able to hold on for the three points.
