Debra Hill was born in Haddonfield New Jersey. A city name she used when she wrote the script of Halloween with John Carpenter, Haddonfield Illinois while most of the street names were taken from Carpenter’s hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky. A successful screenplay and she will work with the Horror Master several times as a producer in Fog, Escape from New York, Halloween II, Halloween III, Escape from LA after their first collaboration in Assault on precint 13. She also worked with a young David Cronenberg on Dead Zone and Terry Gilliam on Fisher King (two great movies too) before to switch as a television and Disney producer. She came back on the big screen once again with John Carpenter for Escape from LA and the remake of Fog before to produce Oliver's Stone tribute World trade center before to die in 2005. She had a cancer. She would be only 66...
