Melbourne Victory’s Ninja A-League Finals Series came to an end at the Semi-Final stage on Saturday afternoon. Jeff Hopkins’ team, trailing from Leg 1, required a win against Melbourne City at ctrl:cyber Pitch, if they were to reach the Grand Final for a second successive season. Kennedy White and Nicki Flannery had Victory’s best chances, but the only goal was a City one, with Shelby McMahon netting impressively during the first half.
