Juan Sebastián Verón is considered one of the first complete midfielders in the modern game, but his record-breaking move to the Premier League in 2001 almost didn't happen. The Argentinian midfielder was a box-to-box player, who created chances, scored, defended and did everything in between to be considered one of the best playmakers of his generation.
