Atop the table is Inter Milan, who won 1-0 over erona this morning as the club has won four straight to start the season, the first time since the 2002/03 season they’ve accomplished that. Mauro Icardi scored the game’s only goal just before halftime as Roberto Mancini’s squad moved well atop the Serie A table with 12 points - nobody within five points of them, although five teams below them still have yet to play today. The surprising part of this season has been the back line. Inter has conceded just a single goal in four league matches so far, on the road at Carpi in matchweek two. All four of their wins have come by a one-goal margin, with a clear emphasis on defensive solidity.
