Both sides had chances to win it and might have lost it, but a point apiece looked just about right until Xavier Amaechi stole the points well over the allotted added time at the end of the game. Jayden Stockley's neat near-post finish put the visitors ahead in the first half but it was short-lived as Caleb Watts, in for the absent Bim Pepple, slammed home a rebound soon after. Murphy Cooper made fine saves to deny Stockley and Andy Yiadom either side of the break while Joe Bursik did likewise to thwart Bradley Ibrahim at the other end before the ball broke fortuitously for Amaechi to hook past Bursik in the 95th minute and seal the win which keeps Argyle top of the table for at least another few days.
