Avec le large succès de l'aller (5-1), les joueuses du Barça pouvaient s'avancer confiantes face à Wolfsburg pour la demi-finale retour de Ligue des champions féminine. Les Catalanes n'ont pourtant pas eu la partie facile puisque deux buts en deuxième période de Wassmuth (47e) et Roord (59e) ont permis aux Allemandes de s'imposer à la maison. Pas suffisant néanmoins pour amorcer une vraie remontada, alors que le Barça tient son billet pour la finale. Le PSG ou l'OL, qui s'affrontent ce soir, sera l'adversaire du tenant du titre en C1 féminine.
