The Movie covers Walter Smith two trophy-laden spells at Rangers, his time with Everton in the Premier League and his short but sweet stint as Scotland boss, during which he famously steered the national side to the first of two 1-0 wins against France in Euro 2008 qualifying. A number of Smith's contemporaries and well-known faces from the wider football spectrum features in the documentary. Interviewees include the man who brought him to Ibrox, Sir David Murray, Graeme Souness and another legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson. Brian Laudrup, who starred for Smith for the Light Blues between 1994-1998, also gives his insight on his former boss.
