Chelsea have the chance to continue their Premier League revival when they take on Stoke at the Britannia Stadium. Carlo Ancelotti's Blues suffered a miserable winter as they lost ground to Manchester United in the title race, and they currently sit nine points behind the Red Devils having played a game less. 

 But a victory in the Potteries this weekend would further strengthen their turnaround at the top of the table, as the business end of the season draws near. Fernando Torres has yet to break his duck since a big-money move from Liverpool in January, and the Spaniard will be desperate to open his account after a tricky start to his Blues career. It is his longest barren spell in English football to date, having not found the back of the net in eight matches, seven of those for Chelsea. If the champions are going to enjoy any success this term then Torres will play a key role, as the best defence in the division now looks to combine their bite at the back with a ruthless streak in the final third.  Stoke, meanwhile, are five points clear of the relegation zone with eight games remaining and look a good bet to avoid the drop. Tony Pulis' side are not out of the woods just yet with the bottom half of the table incredibly tight, but an emphatic 4-0 triumph over Newcastle last time out will have done them the world of good. That result ended a run of four without a win for the physical Potters and they are now within touching distance of preserving their top-flight status for another year. They may have a huge FA Cup semi-final still to come, but Premier League safety remains the priority.
