Superliga is the firstst division of football in Denmark. 12 teams are playing between themselves throughout the year to compete and win the title. The last places of the standings at the end of the competition are relegated to the lower division. A relatively quiet summer in the northernmost club in Denmark. The biggest departure has been that one-half of the Klitten twins, Lukas who have joined Frosinone in Italy, and the joint-topscorer from last season, Tom Van Weert. The Dutchman netted 9 times and have departed for Greece. Both have left on a free. Aalborg has brought up 3 players from their own ranks, as well as the center-back Hagelskjaer from promoted Silkeborg and the winger Louka Prip from relegated AC Horsens. 

With both captain Lukas Andersen and the second in command Kasper Kusk out with injuries (the former had a Cruciate Ligament Rupture, he is out for the season. The latter have knee problems, his return date unknown as of this writing). Prip and Oliver Borsting (from the youth ranks) are gonna fill in for Kusk, while Oliver Klitten (Lukas Klittens twin brother) will likely fill in for Andersen). AAB was in the relegation playoffs last season, but along with Odense and Sonderjyske, they were never in danger of being relegated. I do see them in that scenario again this season. Mostly because I have no idea who is gonna score their goals. Iver Fossum (who also got nine goals last season) is a central midfielder. And players like Spaniard Rufo, Swede Tim Prica (son of Rade), and newcomer Anosike Ementa have either been frustrating (Prica), or have played too little to be properly judged.

Brondby who play in Brondbyvester, the Capital Region of Denmark  usually wear yellow jerseys and blue shorts. However, they flipped their kit for their fixture against Sonderjyske to resemble to Ukrainian flag.  The Brondby players also decided to auction their kit off after the game - with all the money raised being sent to help the Ukrainian children suffering during the war. 

Mikael Uhre takes first place on the top scorer list with 11 goals, but has during the winter break changed from Brøndby to Philadelphia Union in MLS. The closest pursuer is Nicklas Helenius, who became a hat-trick completely on his old home court and is now up to 10 season goals. FC Midtjylland top scorer Junior Brumado also made the net masks flutter in the 19th round.
