 North Carolina has qualified for every NCAA Tournament ever played.  This year marks Carolina 35th successive bid to the NCAA field.North Carolina is 125-11-3 all-time in its 35 NCAA Tournament appearances.  That is a winning percentage of .910.This year marks the 27th time in 35 appearances that Carolina has advanced to the NCAA semifinals.  UNC made the College Cup every year from 1982-2003, 22 straight years.  Since then, in the era of parity, UNC has advanced to Final Fours in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2016.Going into the 2016 College Cup, UNC has prevailed as the national champion in each of its last five trips to the College Cup (2003, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2012).
