L’arrière latéral de Tottenham, Ashleigh Neville, a été nommé joueur Barclays WSL du mois de février, tandis que la patronne de Leicester, Lydia Bedford, a remporté le prix du manager du mois. Neville figurait un peu plus haut sur le terrain qu’elle n’en a l’habitude puisque Tottenham en a remporté deux sur deux en février, battant Brighton 4-0 et enregistrant une victoire 2-0 sur Birmingham. Le joueur de 28 ans a été largement déployé sur l’aile pendant la majeure partie des deux matchs et s’est inscrit sur la feuille de match dans les deux matchs avec une paire de finitions cliniques. Neville est devenu le premier joueur de Tottenham à remporter le prix du joueur Barclays WSL du mois alors que les Spurs poursuivent leur saison remarquablement impressionnante. Rehanne Skinner a été initialement recrutée pour éviter la relégation lors de la campagne 2020/21, et son équipe occupe actuellement la dernière place de la WSL en Ligue des champions.

Ashleigh Neville has been lighting up the FAWSL all season. After registering two goals, one assist, and two clean sheets in two games, she has the FAWSL Player of the Month award to show for it. February saw Spurs secure wins over Brighton and Birmingham City, and Ash was spectacular in both. Her second-half appearance against Brighton turned a somewhat tenuous lead into a four-goal romp. It was almost impossible not to watch her–popping up in space to rob Brighton of the ball, combining with Asmita Ale, sending in clever crosses (including the one that Kyah Simon put away for the fourth goal), and of course, smashing home her own 1v1 chance against Brighton’s keeper. She added another well-rounded performance against Birmingham City. She worked tirelessly both pressing and providing an outlet against a compact Birmingham side in the first half. After coach Rehanne Skinner moved her to the opposite wing in the second half, she scored the opening goal while still maintaining her defensive duties.
