Glenn Hoddle inspired Tottenham as they came from behind to end Chelsea's FA Cup dream in front of 42,557 supporters at Stamford Bridge on 6 March.
Mike Fillery opened the scoring just before half-time with a free-kick as Spurs players harangued officials, but the visitors struck three times in 16 minutes after the interval.
First Steve Archibald knocked in a rebound after Steve Francis parried Hoddle's shot. Six minutes later Hoddle drove home from 25 yards and Spurs made it three in the 62nd minute as Hoddle picked out Micky Hazard, who shot home from the edge of the area.
