Substitute Ryan Edmondson scored a hat-trick as Central Coast Mariners advanced to the AFC Cup 2023/24 ASEAN Zonal final after posting a comfortable 4-0 win against Cambodia's Phnom Penh Crown FC in the ASEAN Zonal semi-final on Tuesday. Jing Reec opened the scoring for Mariners in the first half before Edmondson scored three times in the final 20 minutes to help his club down the Cambodian champions at Central Coast Stadium and progress to the next stage, where they will face fellow Australian side Macarthur FC after they defeated Sabah FC 3-0 earlier in the day.
