Arsenal were 2-0 down at half-time away to Leicester City, a team who had not only never beaten the Gunners in the Women's Super League, but had never so much as managed a goal against them. The visitors halved the deficit in the 50th minute. Incredibly, 12 minutes later, they were 4-2 up. Jonas Eidevall's side would eventually run out 6-2 winners with six different goalscorers.

Brighton dealt Manchester City a crushing blow to their WSL title hopes with a smash-and-grab style 1-0 victory, where two former City players combined to score the only goal of the game. Manchester United swept past West Ham with a 5-0 win at Leigh Sports Village. Chelsea shrugged aside the attention surrounding Emma Hayes' impending departure with a 3-0 win at Everton to consolidate their lead at the top of the Women's Super League.Tottenham and Liverpool shared the points in an entertaining encounter in London, which ended 1-1. The pair went into the game level on 10 points, with Matt Beard's Reds just ahead in third on goal difference. Late goals from England international Rachel Daly and Ebony Salmon handed Aston Villa their first points of the season courtesy of a 2-0 victory at Bristol City.
