Vissel Kobe are still atop the table, as they have been for nearly the entire season, but their perch is under threat as F.C.Tokyo take to Noevir Stadium Kobe. The Ushi are unbeaten in five straight, but two of those came via draw and that includes last week against Kashiwa Reysol. That allowed Yokohama F·Marinos and Nagoya Grampus to move within three and four points of Vissel, respectively. With Vissel’s cushion shrinking, they need to put their best foot forward week in, week out. Fortunately, they have the league’s leading scorer Yuya Osako leading the way, while Yoshinori Muto has been a creative wizard and tops J1 in assists.
