Terminix La Horquetta Rangers striker Kadeem Corbin was named Player of the Ascension Tournament 2022. Corbin received a hefty pay cheque of $25,000 for his effort. Corbin was in exceptional form in front of goal scoring 13 goals with several of them being game winners and crucial goals. He was also unselfish throughout the tournament assisting many of his strike partners. Corbin was one of several Rangers players getting awards on Friday night. Defence Force`s Brent Sam captured the $5,000 cheque for the Most Goals title. The lanky striker was instrumental in Army placing second scoring 16 goals for the season. Rangers` goalkeeper Jabari St. Hillaire grabbed the Best Goalkeeper award while his teammate Caleb Sturge was awarded Best Defender. Both players earned $5000 plus a trophy. Rangers young star-player Real Gill collected the $5,000 award for Most Promising Player. Gill who was also selected for the National U-20 lit the tournament alive with his trickery, slick passing and crosses on the wing. Richard Hood of Police FC was selected as the Best Coach and a payday of $5,000. Nickolai Nyron won Best Referee whilst Caleb Wales and Ainsley Rochard were selected Best Assistant Referees.
