A place in the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition remains up for grabs, with a goalless draw at Stade Velodrome in the first leg of a keenly-fought tie keeping both sides in the hunt. United will feel that they hold the upper hand heading into the return meeting, with their record on home soil in continental competition making for impressive reading. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 11 knockout-stage games at Old Trafford, winning 10 and drawing one, while no French side has ever left the Theatre of Dreams with a victory. They are the reigning French champions and have suffered just one defeat in their last 13 fixtures in all competitions. Didier Deschamps' side can also take heart from a record which has seen them go 512 minutes without conceding a goal in Europe currently the longest run in the Champions League. They have already tasted defeat on English soil this season, coming unstuck 2-0 at Chelsea during the group stages, but were able to avenge that reversal and will now be setting their sights on another memorable scalp.
