Borussia Dortmund went into International break at the best possible time as they have faced couple of setbacks recently which cut their lead at the table to just seven points above Bayer Leverkusen at the second spot with seven rounds to go. Dortmund have picked up just one point in the last two matches, couple of weeks ago they drew 1-1 against Mainz and a week prior that they have lost 1-0 against 1899 Hoffenheim. Coach Jurgen Klopp has two doubtful players for this match as the Serbian defender Neven Subotic had received a knock in the match against N.Ireland , but according to the player`s words he should be fit on time to take his place in the starting line up. Also the midfielder Jakub`Kuba`Blaszczykowski has a thigh hardening which he had received in the match for the Polish national team, so if he is not available on time, Robert Lewandowski will play in the central midfield instead. Shinji Kagawa and Florian Kringe are not available for the remainder of the season. Borussia Dortmund will play in standard 4-3-2-1 formation.
From a mediocre Bundesliga team, Hannover 96 have raised to a real force this season fighting for a European spot which is their main goal after the great campaign that they are having this season. Coach Mirko Slomka had made a great mix of young and experienced players that are bringing results and they have produced some fantastic performances this season when they were not expected to do so. This is by far the best season Hannover 96 have ever been involved in,and their 50 points collected so far should provide a European football next season. Most of the first team players have extended their contracts with the team, so probably we should see an equally strong team next season as well.
