In an end to the season not for the faint-hearted, Empoli and Udinese secure salvation to the detriment of Frosinone who lost at home to the Friuliani and bid farewell to the top flight. Lazio and Roma earned a EL spot . The last spot still up for grabs concerns the Conference League: Fiorentina (8th) will secure a spot in the competition if they lose the final against Olympiakos whilst if the Viola win, their place in the next Europa League will be confirmed, deferring the Conference League slot to Torino, 9th in Serie A.
