In a nail-biting 2-1 win, Perth took all three points from Adelaide United. Dylan Holmes got the goal-scoring action underway for the hosts in the 43rd minute. The No.16 tapped the ball home at the near post following an initial deflection from a corner. Shortly after half-time, Grace Jale got the equaliser for Perth, slotting the ball beyond Annalee Grove. Susan Phonsongkam bagged the winner for the hosts with just four minutes of regular time left to play. The No.10 fired the ball home from a tight angle to take all three points for the home side.
