Old favourites returned, new talents emerged, and the title race was once again a close-run thing as the Eredivisie played out another entertaining season. Frank de Boer became the first Ajax manager since Louis van Gaal to bring home three consecutive league titles as his side saw off the challenge of Dick Advocaat’s PSV Eindhoven and surprise package Vitesse Arnhem. AZ Alkmaar struggled but found redemption in the cup, and Winnie the Pooh lookalike Ronald Koeman continued his fine work at Feyenoord. Here, then, is the Football Radar Eredivisie team of the season for 2012/13. In the interest of fairness, our 18-man squad features one player from each side; the formation (of course, this is Dutch football after all) is 4-3-3.
