Both Hearts and Hibs will feel they could have won the first Edinburgh derby of the season. But both had their goalkeepers to thank for their respective clean sheets with each producing several top saves to stop certain goals. For a goalless draw, the Tynecastle encounter didn't lack chances or shots at goal. Gary Mackay-Steven forced Macey to leap to his right and save two handed before Martin Boyle forced Gordon into an almost identical stop at the other end. The Hearts 'keeper then got the slightest of fingertips to another Boyle shot that looked to be heading for the far corner. After the break, Mackay-Steven was denied from close ranger after being slipped in by Ben Woodburn, but Macey got down brilliantly to keep out his placed finish. Anything he could do, so could Gordon though, and he left Kyle Magennis wondering how he hadn't put Hibs ahead, meeting Nisbet's cutback first time, only for Gordon to throw out a hand to divert it wide. The pair are still locked together on points in the Premiership table, with Rangers now top on goal difference and on this evidence, it could be hard to separate the city rivals this season.
