It was Inter who won the first women's derby of the season: the Nerazzurre beat coach Ganz's AC Milan 4-0, whose progress in the table was interrupted after three consecutive victories. A harsh score for the Rossonere, who did not disappoint at all in the first half hour of the game - even hitting the crossbar with Grimshaw's effort - then suffering the blow of the second and third Nerazzurre goal in the final half. A fairly indifferent second half then saw AC Milan push on, in vain, in search of the consolation goal that would have made the defeat less bitter and difficult to take. An afternoon to be put behind them for the Rossonere, who are scheduled to play another important fixture next weekend: on Saturday afternoon, in fact, AC Milan will host the Italian champions Juventus, in order to seek redemption on the field after today's defeat.
