Boca Juniors got a valuable 0-0 tie this Tuesday in their visit to Corinthianswho wasted a penalty, in the first leg of the 2022 Copa Libertadores round of 16. The Argentine goalkeeper Agustín Rossi saved in the 44th minute the shot of the Brazilian attacker Róger Guedes from eleven steps before the disappointment of the almost 45,000 attendees of the Neo Química Arena stadium in Sao Paulo. Sin embargo, el arquero Agustín Rossi atajó el penal a Róger Guedes. El guardameta de Boca, un especialista en detener remates desde los 11 pasos, tiene un registro de 44 penales en contra, de los cuales atajó 13 y otros 5 salieron desviados. “Nos llevamos un resultado positivo. El cero es importante y esperamos que salga todo bien como local”, señaló Rossi tras el partido. Antes del compromiso, uno de los autobuses que llevaba a la delegación “xeneize” al estadio fue atacado con piedras y le rompieron varios vidrios.
