C’est une victoire rassurante pour Feyenoord, qui réalise une excellente opération en match aller de huitièmes de finale de la Ligue Europa Conférence. Après une première mi-temps à égalité 1-1, le retour des vestiaires a finalement été à l’avantage des Néerlandais. Les visiteurs se sont créés d’uatres nouvelles occasions pour une victoire finale 5-2. Les 5 buts de Feyenoord ont été inscrits par Toornstra à la 20e et 77e, Dessers à la 52e, Geertruida à la 64e,  et Sinisterra à la 71e. Dans cette rencontre largement dominée par Feyenoord à 62 pour cent contre 38, les visiteurs ont, grâce à cette victoire, une longueur d’avance sur le Partizan Belgrade. De quoi aborder le match retour, prévu dans une semaine à Rotterdam, avec sérénité.
