The Czech Republic and New Zealand battled to a 0-0 draw in icy conditions in the final match of the 2022 SheBelieves Cup, presented by Visa, for both teams. Czech Republic out-shot New Zealand 15-7 in the match, and hit the crossbar twice in the second half, while limiting the Football Ferns to zero shots on goal. With the result, Czech Republic will finish third in the tournament with two points from three matches after tying the USA and New Zealand (both 0-0) and losing to Iceland, while New Zealand will finish fourth with one point after falling to Iceland and the USA before earning the draw tonight. The first half saw the Czech Republic with a bit more of the play, and while the energy from both teams was high, neither side could create any super dangerous chances, aside from a shot by New Zealand defender Ria Percival that hit the left post in the 39th minute. The Czechs put two of their five shots on goal in the first half while New Zealand was not accurate on its two attempts.

The Czechs put the ball in the net in the 73rd minute as midfielder Antonie Stárová tapped home from close range after a blast from defender Anna Dlasková hit the crossbar, bounced down off New Zealand goalkeeper Victoria Esson who played a fine match and rolled in front of the goal line, but the flag was correctly raised for offside. Czech Republic had a golden chance to win it as the game moved into stoppage time. Forward Miroslava Mrázová bent a shot on frame from just outside the penalty area on the left side, but the ball hit the underside of the crossbar at the upper right corner and bounced down and away.
