Late goals from Ryo Germain and Kosuke Kinoshita saw Sanfrecce Hiroshima come back from two down to earn a 2-2 draw with FC Seoul on Tuesday that leaves the K League 1 side’s hopes of reaching the last 16 of the AFC Champions League Elite in the balance.
A 10th minute Patryk Klimala penalty and Naoyo Arai’s own goal 17 minutes later had given the hosts a two-goal lead at Mokdong Stadium but Germain and Kinoshita both netted in stoppage time to salvage a point for the visitors and complicate the picture for FC Seoul. That means already-qualified Hiroshima finish on 15 points while FC Seoul move onto 10 points from their eight matches and leaves Kim Gi-dong’s side sweating on the outcome of the remaining games in the East Zone's League Stage.
