Swindon Town’s wretched Boxing Day record continued as they were defeated 1-0 away from home at promotion rivals Milton Keynes Dons. Both teams created plenty during the first 45 minutes, but only a sensational strike from Aaron Nemane was the only thing that caught the ‘keepers out. Swindon looked to turn the screw after the break and had two efforts cleared off the line, but could not find the goal they needed. Since 2014, Town have won just once on Boxing Day and slipped behind Bromley into third in League Two.
Merci pour ce match. Swindon avait l'occasion de prendre la tête du championnat de League Two à condition de soigner son goal-average mais cet après-midi son goal avait rage contre Nemane, le milieu de terrain des MK Dons qui lui a marqué l'unique but de la rencontre. Nemane qui a été l'homme-clé.

DeleteNemane ne vaut pas Neymar mais il a mis l'unique but qui a fait le bonheur des MK Dons. Pendant ce temps-là, Walsall demeure en tête du championnat avec des possessions de balle de moins de 40% quasiment à chaque match, y compris à domicile. Difficile de faire plus pragmatique.
