Toronto FC surrendered an early lead against Chicago Fire to slump to their third loss of the new Major League Season at BMO Field in Toronto Saturday. The hosts sit bottom of the MLS Eastern Conference with a single point from four games after Saturday’s 2-1 home loss. But Toronto FC head coach Robin Fraser opted for optimism during his post-match media availability. “I’m more excited about this team right now than I have been, given the numbers of setbacks we’ve had,” said Fraser after his club’s home opener. “When the group, in my opinion, is really focused and diligent in terms of what’s being asked, we saw some really good things. ”And it’s very disappointing to have played as well as we did in spurts and then to not come out with a result.”
