Dundee's 37-year-wait for a home victory against Celtic goes on after the Hoops snatched a point at the death in a pulsating 3-3 draw at Dens Park. Brendan Rodgers' men had gone in front through a superb header from former Dees favourite Luke McCowan but went into the break on level terms after the impressive Oluwaseun Adewumi strode towards the edge of the area to beat Kasper Schmeichel with a low drive. A crazy two minute spell early in the second half saw the two teams exchange goals with Yang's header quickly getting cancelled out by an own goal from Cameron Carter-Vickers. Tony Docherty's spirited side then went on the front foot and deservedly went in front for the first time with 12 minutes left on the clock when January signing Aaron Donnelly rose highest at the back post to bully Auston Trusty and nod home Finlay Robertson's corner.
However, the Hoops blushes were spared in injury time when referee Don Robertson pointed to the spot after Mohamed Sylla had handled a shot from sub Nicolas Kuhn and fellow replacement Arne Engels kept his cool to lash past Trevor Carson and round off the scoring in a thrilling night of action in Tayside. The champions missed the chance to move 18 points clear at the Premiership summit while Dundee jump up to seventh after picking up two points from the Old Firm in back-to-back games.
