Wednesday night was a true soccer spectacle at BMO Stadium. With an applause-worthy performance, LAFC secured their spot in the Leagues Cup Round of 16 by defeating Austin FC 2-0.The first half started off electrifying, with both teams looking to set their pace. Austin FC, despite playing away, wasn't intimidated and created good chances in the opening minutes. The home crowd held their breath a few times, but it was LAFC who struck first. At the 11-minute mark, Denis Bouanga, showcasing his sharp goal-scoring instincts, took advantage of a beautiful assist from Hugo Lloris and found the back of the net, putting the home team ahead.
