Nicaragua won 4-1 against Montserrat in Group D at the National Football Stadium in Managua, Nicaragua. Jaime Moreno opened the scoring in the 4’ with a header inside the box. Brandon Barzey tied the game in the 10’ as the visitors got on the board. Junior Arteaga retook the lead for Nicaragua in the 23' off a free kick attempt towards the near post. Jacob Montes extended the lead for the hosts in the 70' with a swing of his left foot at the edge of the box. Harold Medina added a fourth with a left-footed strike in the box in the 90’+3. Nicaragua will visit Belize on Saturday in Belmopan. Montserrat will remain in Managua to face Panama on Sunday at the National Stadium.
