Kaizer Chiefs put a stop in the title charge of Ajax Cape Town as the Amakhosi defeated the league leaders 4-0 in an Absa Premiership match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane to record their largest ever victory over the Urban Warriors. Victory over Ajax and with Orlando Pirates drawing away to Santos and Mamelodi Sundowns losing to Maritzburg United means that the Amakhosi are still in with a chance of winning the league title on the final day of the season on May 21st.
