Remonté en 2019 en Serie B, Pisa a terminé sur le podium à 2 points d'une montée directe vers la Serie A derrière Cremonese et qui malgré sa belle saison est mené dans cette confrontation et voit sa montée direction la SA en péril. Cependant pour rassurer tout supporters de Pisa, elle n'a plus perdue à la maison depuis 9 réceptions dont 4 victoires.
