The weekend matches in the Premier League present two games between title contenders and sides battling to avoid relegation, as league leaders Manchester City travel to face Norwich, while Liverpool visit Burnley. Manchester City's comfortable 2-0 win at home to Brentford on Wednesday means they have won 12 and drawn one of their last 13 matches and they should be too good for Norwich, despite their rivals' run of two wins and a draw from their last three games.
Likewise, Burnley have drawn matches at home to Watford and Manchester United, but second-placed Liverpool, who are back to full strength following the end of the Africa Cup of Nations, will expect to leave Turf Moor with all three points to add to the three they took from Leicester on Thursday night to keep the pressure on Man City. Manchester United slipped out of the top four after their inability to beat Burnley during the week, and after missed chances let them down in recent games against Middlesbrough and Burnley, Ralf Rangnick will be hoping for some better finishing, especially as the return to Champions League football is just around the corner.

Everton at home to Leeds United looks like one of Saturday's standout games, and Frank Lampard needs to see a reaction after a midweek defeat to Newcastle left his side just two points above the drop zone. Everton lost Yerry Mina and Demarai Gray to injury in Newcastle, and those could be important absences against a rival who will see the trip to Goodison Park as a chance to put distance between themselves and the relegation zone. Brentford have dropped to within five points of the bottom three after a run of eight defeats and need to start taking points again, starting with the visit of Crystal Palace, whose away form gives room for optimism among home fans. Meanwhile, Watford look to have tightened up in defense since the arrival of Roy Hodgson, but need to start taking points in threes as Brighton prepare to visit Vicarage Road.

Newcastle United's win at home to Everton in midweek lifted them out of the bottom three and Eddie Howe's side entertains Aston Villa as they look to continue their recovery. Villa will be missing the suspended Ezri Konsa after he was sent off in midweek. Tottenham's recovery under Antonio Conte came to a halt at home to Southampton on Wednesday and the Italian will want to see his side tighten up in defense against Wolves as they chase a top-four finish. Finally, West Ham travel to Leicester City with Kurt Zouma the center of attention after the controversy following a video of the central defender kicking his cat across the kitchen, which led to Zouma being fined 250,000 pounds. West Ham coach David Moyes was criticized for keeping Zouma in the side for the midweek win against Watford, and Moyes will have to decide what action to take, while hoping striker Michail Antonio can recover his best form.
