In British football, it gets no bigger than Liverpool versus Manchester United.
And when there's a cup final at stake, the magnitude of one of world football's most glamorous fixtures is increased tenfold. March 2 2003 saw the Reds return to a stadium that had become a happy hunting ground for Houllier and his side.

As the 'new' Wembley was being built, domestic cup finals would be played at the Millennium Stadium in the Welsh capital, and Liverpool's form was outstanding there. If Wembley had become known as 'Anfield South' to Liverpool fans during the course of their illustrious history, the Millennium Stadium would become something of a second home during the years 2001-2006. The Reds won the FA Cup and League Cups in 2001 before picking up Community Shield before the start of the 2001/02 campaign. Another Community Shield visit in August 2002 would see them beaten by Arsenal, before Houllier's men once again proved their big-game mettle with a 2-0 win over United.
