Mary Fowler was the match-winner for Manchester City as she rose highest to clinch a hard-earned victory over Austrian side SKN St. Polten in the UEFA Champions League. The visitors led early on through Alanna Kennedy, but were rocked by two goals from the home side just before and after half-time. But Aoba Fujino equalised before Fowler's winner ten minutes from time. Manchester City edged out St. Polten with a 3-2 win to make it two wins from two in Group D of the UEFA Champions League.
